Dr. Flister is an Assistant Professor in the Genomic Sciences and Precision Medicine Center and the Department of Physiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Our research focuses on understanding the heritable (i.e., germline) genetic modifiers of the host tumor microenvironment that impact cancer risk, progression, and response to the therapy. This work is currently supported by the National Cancer Institute, the Mary Kay Foundation, the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse, the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment, and the Dr. Nancy Sobczak Fund for Breast Cancer.
